ABOUT US
OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2017, Revolution Netball began its journey as an inter-university ISOC netball club. Led by Faiza Siddiqi at the LSE, our aim was simple: to get more Muslim and BAME women into sport. The club quickly expanded, being featured on England Netball, Islam Channel and AMALIAH.
In 2021, we rebranded to Revolution Netball, opening our doors to Muslim women of all ages and backgrounds across London. Our legacy has been passed down through generations of captains and committees, each committed to carrying the mission forward. We moved from our original Waterloo site to Somerstown in 2022.
Fast forward to 2026, we’ve evolved to become so much more than a netball club. Revolution Netball is a diverse community, where long-lasting friendships have been forged on and off the netball court. Our weekly training sessions are a safe and inclusive space for Muslim women to develop their netball abilities, whilst our league team hone their skills in competitive matches. Alongside our sporting activities, we host regular social events to bring our growing community together, such as picnics, summer rounders, iftars and an annual dinner.
Together, we are a movement, shaping a vibrant community where Muslim women can grow, connect and thrive in team sport and beyond.
